The devil tries to do what God can do. Faith is when you trust and believe what God can do and even when it’s hard.
The deciples were in a boat out fishing when they lost faith and they got caught in a storm. Then they saw someone walking in the storm on the water. They realised it was Jesus and he told them to have faith.
He said to Peter to step out of the boat and walk out of the boat to the water. Peter looked at the big waves and lost faith when he was in the water. God saw the fear in Peter’s eyes and grabbed him before he fell.
I think that faith is like having a force field and no bad or evil thoughts get to you.
I think that not having faith is like the force field breaks and all the bad thoughts wrap around you.
God says in the Bible, “Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord I believe, help my unbelief!” Have faith for the lord God is with you.
Goliath was a giant warrior but a shepherd called David said he would fight. Goliath was a giant but he did not have God on his side but David did. He killed Goliath with one stone and he had lots of faith.
